In My Mailbox is hosted by the wonderful Kristi at The Story Siren.
Hi. My name is Kristen. I'm a contest-a-holic. The only therapy for me is... well there is none. Therefore, another packed week book-wise!
First off. I received a pretty envelope from Lisa Schroeder. Signed bookplate, lots of pretty bookmarks and a postcard with another sweet signed message. :) Thanks Lisa!
Then, I was lucky enough to win a pendulum and Ghost Huntress: The Awakening from The Book Butterfly. Thanks!
Alright, I also got a copy of Fire by Kristin Cashore- which I'm circulating with some girls from Goodreads.
I won a signed, ARC copy of Secret Society by Tom Dolby from HarperCollins (and a cool temporary tattoo).
From Stephanie Kuehnert's Cyberlaunch party, I won some Ballads of Suburbia taffy and she included some bookmarks about her book, a cool temporary tattoo, a pink pin that says "The Girls guide to Rocking", and some cute little cards about Jeri Smith-Ready's books.
And then, since I'm collecting all of L.A. Meyer's Bloody Jack series. I nabbed the latest paperback - In the Belly of the Bloodhound.
And then, for good measure, I stopped by the library. I got three movies: The Talented Mr. Ripley, Changeling, and Interview with the Vampire. Then, I just had to get The Awakening by Kelley Armstrong, because I just finished The Summoning and it had a killer ending.
Wowzers. Now to catch up on some reading...
