What did I read in July? Not as much as in June, but I did get quite a few books read! Also last month I went to ALA. I also jumped serious numbers in followers from 50th, 100th, 150th and now closing in on 200 followers! That's just nuts. I also conducted my first author interview with Jack W. Regan. Check it out here!
So this is everything that I read - if it has a * next to it, click the title for my review (or don't and just know it's there!). Otherwise, it will take you to a description of the book.
The Demon's Lexicon by Sarah Rees Brennan*
The Amber Spyglass by Philip Pullman*
Twenty Boy Summer by Sarah Ockler*
A Map of the Known World by Lisa Ann Sandell*
The Book Thief by Markus Zusak*

14 books + all the other stuff you've done this month is a GREAT accomplishment! Great job Kristen =)
ReplyDeleteWow, double that? The most I've done is 21 in a month. I had a slow month this month too, with ALA. I hit 15.
ReplyDeleteGreat job! You've read some awesomolicious books in July:)
ReplyDeleteAnd yay on the 28 books goal! I'm sure you can do it:D
ReplyDeleteCongrats on jumpying that many follows!
ReplyDeleteI hit about 15 books, but I'm aiming for at least 20 next month.
14 books is a lot! I think I hit around that mark this month - hoping for more myself next month as well :)
ReplyDeleteYou read some great books in July. Most of them are on my TBR list. And 14 books is about my average so I am very jealous that you can usually read more. That is my challenge for the month of August, to try to get 20 books read.
ReplyDeleteonly 14? :) I only finished one book in July,I went on holidays for 10 days then family were here for another 10.
ReplyDeleteMy TBR pile is huge now.
I can't wait to read your review for The Name of the Wind!
ReplyDeleteI only read 13 books, so you're better than me. The summer = more reading plan isn't working out for me for some reason. You read some great books this month though, so I think it more than makes up for your so called lack of reading. :P

I'm jealous of your long list. I've been reading a lot this month, but one of them is East of Eden and there's a lot of pages there...
ReplyDeleteDidn't u read Looking for Alaska? Or was it before July? I'm starting it now, I loved your review!
ReplyDeleteOh pssssh ONLY 14 books...Lmao.
ReplyDeleteI'm lucky if I can get one done! But that's just because of my brain fog.
Congrats on your 14 books, though! :D
I think 14 books in a month is a great accomplishment! I've been thinking about reading The Demon's Lexicon, it looks really interesting
ReplyDelete14 books is not half bad! Also you read Anne, so you deserve praise. :D
ReplyDeleteThere are like so many awesome books there that I want to read. Totally awesome.
ReplyDelete14 books is nothing to frown at. I only read about half that many a month. I know, shame on me. But I really like to take my time reading and enjoying the books unless I don't like it, then I read through it faster so I can start a better book. However, I still don't do stuff like speedreading. I never understood how or why people do that.

You've done a lot in a month. I would say 14 isn't anything to be sad about. You go girl!
ReplyDeleteI thought about doing a end of the month review type thing. But I haven't made up my mind yet.
ReplyDeleteI pre-ordered Graceling (with the new cover) after I read Fire. I can't wait to read it!
ReplyDeleteI'd need to do August in review, but I only read 7 books. Shame on me =(
ReplyDeleteI need to go back over the books I read in August but it wasn't nearly as many as I wanted. You, on the other hand, read a ton from what I can tell. =]
