2- I dated my husband for five years before we married (he was 16 and I 19).
3- I cannot walk into a bookstore without leaving with some kind of book.
4- I used to surf amazon for hours and get recommendations for new books when I worked at a Public Library.
5- I started blogging because I was jealous of all the pretty looking book blogs around and wanted one of my own. (Who knew it would become a monster time-consumer!)

7- If I could eat cheese all day, I would.
8- I'm very forgetful and often stop and say "What was I just going to do.."

Do you reach for a cup of cocoa or tea when you're relaxing, seeking comfort, sharing a plate of cookies with family and friends? You know the feeling you get when you drink a yummy cup of cocoa, tea, or a hot toddy? That is what the Heartfelt Award is all about, feeling warm inside.
Thanks to Haley over at The Life (and lies) of an Inanimate Flying Object and Yvonne from Socrates' Book Reviews!

Wow look at all these awards! Congrats. I also LOVE the new design. - Parajunkee
ReplyDeleteThank you Kristen! I LOVE the new look BTW =)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the award :)
ReplyDeleteThank you - too bad I can't just give it right back to you. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the new layout! It looks amazing.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the awards! Thanks for passing one along to me :D
ReplyDeleteLOVE the new layout!!
Congrats on the fab new layout, Kristen! Enjoy the birthday bash!
ReplyDeleteI already told you on twitter but again, awesome new layout! :)
ReplyDelete224 books? that's crazy. (in a good way of course! lol)I've been keeping track of all the books I've read this year so far and it's nowhere near that amount!
Oh and btw, your button's made its way into my button blog roll xD
Congrats on your awards! And don't eat cheese all day - it's bad for you!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could read as many books as you do. I'm such a slow reader. :-(
The book "sea glass" reminds me of "Sweet Home Alabaha," which I watched with one of my girls while she was home from college. That's the Reese Witherspoon movie where you get glass from when lightning hits the sand. Probably has nothing to do with your actual book!
ReplyDeleteMonday over, and so is my book, "Love Tag," by Peter Shianna. It's a novel that covers pride, betrayal and infidelity, with a focus on family and friends and, of course, love and hope. Quite enjoyable and will appeal to many factions. And now I have to check what else is on the shelf! It's rare for me to be so completely unaware of what's up there -- I do know I managed to find a bunch of books outside my own norm, that I found online on blogs. So I'm kind of excited.
hahah--what was i going to say to you.....
ReplyDeleteoh yeah.
i do that all the time :D
and i can relate to the blogging thing--i started blogging so i would have somewhere to put links so i could win contests :D (i kinda got out of that phase...) and it is amazingly time consuming! I could be a full time blogger--if i wasn't a full time student and a full time biker and a full time... you get the idea.
i had so much fun listening to supreme courtship, that i am listening to it again. i laugh every time.
ReplyDeletei anxiously await your review of cleopatra's daughter!
i do like your new layout...it is clean and easy on the eyes.
as for all the awards...yea you!!!
congrats on all the awards! You have some great books you are reading and have coming up. I really want to read Sea Glass. The Dark Divine was really good.
ReplyDeleteDon't know how I missed our nomination. Thank You.
