Looking for Alaska

Looking for Alaska
by John Green

Miles ends up going to a boarding school in Alabama, where he meets his first real friends - Chip and Alaska. Alaska becomes Miles' every obsession, even with her current relationship with her boyfriend Jake. Everything is crazy but perfect with Alaska around - Miles starts smoking and drinking, but feeling for the first time like he's living. That is, until Alaska leaves one night and ends up never coming back.

I really loved this book. I own it, but listened to it on audio and really just ate it up. I love John Green's characters - they're so realistic, but still so interesting. The way he writes makes you really think about what is going on and why it is happening. Having met John Green, I can see why his books are so incredible.

5/5 Roses
