Bloggiesta III Finish Line!

Total hours blogged since this morning: 15 hours!
Totals hours blogged for Bloggiesta: 48 hours! (that's like two days straight! Insanity!)

So, my mind is kinda numb but here you go, what I got done:

Here's what I did today/yesterday:

  • Went through my google mail emails and emailed a ton of people and sorted old emails I was keeping into folders.
  • Double checked when my domain would expire and made sure it automatically renewed.
  • Did a swagbucks survey. :)
  • Reviews: Wrote and scheduled =5 posts, wrote one more by hand but didn't type it up yet.
  • Other posts written and scheduled = 10 posts
  • I also went through my bookshelf in the living room and organized those books.. I organize them weirdly b/c those are all my review books, challenge books, want to read SOON books, and library books. Sorry no bookshelf pics today, too tired to hunt for the cam.
  • Talked at length with Kate @ The Neverending Shelf about a new blog we want to start just about graphic novels and mangas. Bookmarked some possible backgrounds/layouts and discussed names and whatnot.
  • Completed MotherReader's MiniChallenge, by being brave with one of my posts. :-D
  • Entered a few contests... :)
What I did before today:

  • Updated Reading From My Shelf Project - which I had been neglecting until I had an actual contest going on.
  • Finished all of my Goodreads project. All books that I own and have read are marked Own-It, all books I own that I haven't read are marked TBR-own and here's the numbers: Own-It: 253 TBR-own: 392 That's 645 books that are mine... wow!
  • I still have to finish working on my bookshelves in the living room, but the two in the bedroom are done!
  • Cleared out all my starred items except for 13 I wanted to keep for reference.. :) I started with over 350 so, quite the feat.
  • Made a Weekly Checklist for my blog in Google Docs.
  • Scheduled 2 Blogoversary Giveaway posts, 2 guest posts, 1 review post, 1 author interview post - so 6 posts total!
  • On top of that, I have 3.5 reviews handwritten and waiting to get typed up.
  • I also, went through my first 50 or so emails, replied to some review requests, authors and other people.
  • Also, I found time to get a pic of myself for Natasha's Mini-Challenge. :) You'll see it tomorrow (I mean today.. it is 1:30 am here.. seriously...).
  • Oh... and... I entered some contests - found a bunch of actual recent ones while going through Google Reader.
  • Updated master list of Reviews
  • Posted reviews up on Goodreads, updated what I had read on there.
  • Updated Author Interviews list
  • Updated Blogger Spotlights list
  • Updated list of books read this year on Goodreads
  • Updated links in my monthly In Review posts to include reviews written after the post was up.
  • Updated my Tour book list (to keep track of where I'm at on Tour books)
  • Wrote up a Review book Spreadsheet - this consists of the title and author of the book, publication date, if there's a set date for my review, the publisher, etc. To keep me on task with review books...
  • Updated my sidebars (got rid of some stuff, added/changed some stuff)
  • Updated my TBR Slideshow
  • Finished my Blog Affiliates page
  • Took the photos off my camera from the author event last week so I can start working on that post.
Completed the following mini-challenges:
  • Kim and Jackie at the Blog Improvement Project - I set two goals, both dealing with organization basically: Short term goal: Get ahead with my review posts and memes
Long term goal: Make a schedule and stick to it. I want to create a weekly schedule and monthly schedule and stick to it. I feel too much like a procrastinator when it comes to my blog.
  • Jennifer at Girls Gone Reading - I really didn't have a review policy.. does that surprise you as much as it did me? So, here it is - My Review Policy (it is also linked on the menubar).
  • Sarah at Puss Reboots - I already have RSS feed, so basically I just double checked it. It works, yay!
  • Danielle at There’s a Book - This one was about StatCounters! I already have one, but.. when you clicked on it, it said Project Not Found, so I reinstalled that and put it in my right sidebar instead of down at the bottom of the page. :)
  • Cass at Bonjour Cass - I commented on 10 blogs I didn't know from the Mr. Linky page. :) Hope I spread a little Bloggiesta sunshine out there to those I commented on!
