The Huge TBR Readathon begins!

Welcome one and all to The HUGE TBR Readathon! :) I did a count of all the books I currently own that I need to read and let's say it's nearing 400 books! That is a lot.. seriously. Wow.

Come and join me in my insanity. The fun starts today at whatever time you start reading (it's Monday here!) and will run until this coming Sunday (so June 14-20) . I'm also putting aside Monday to write up all my reviews.

Thanks to Bloggiesta, I have a whole week of blog posts scheduled so I can literally just sit around and read. My plan is to work out for at least 30-45 minutes a day, only spend about 1 hour online tops, and then read most of the day each day.

Here is the pile I'm hoping to get through:

Finish Reading:
Elsewhere by Gabrielle Zevin (audio)
What Happened on Fox Street by Trisha Springstubb
The Familiars by Adam Jay Epstein and Andrew Jacobson
Stork by Wendy Dolsol

Hopefully also read:
Spy Glass by Maria V. Snyder
This is Me From Now On by Barbara Dee
Dead Beautiful by Yvonne Woon
Nightshade by Andrea Cremer
Keys to the Demon Prison by Brandon Mull (Fablehaven #5)
The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan
Young Bess by Margaret Irwin
Silver Borne by Patricia Briggs
The Glass Maker's Daughter by V. Briceland
The Buccaneer's Apprentice by V. Briceland
Highway Robbery by Kate Thompson
Wilde: 4 Plays
The Reign of Elizabeth I by Carole Levin
The Guild Leader's Handbook by Scott F. Andrews

Wowzers. So, finish 4 books and read 14 more. Wish me luck! I'm guessing about 50 or so hours of reading, what do you think?

Fill out the Mr. Linky below to your actual Readathon post please! If you are signed up for my Comment Contest, I will give you 10 points for participating! So make sure to stop by on Sunday to post up your final post! :)

  1. Yay for read-a-thons. I hope I do better in this read-a-thon than the last one I took part in. Good luck for your read-a-thon.

  2. WOW! 400 books?! Good luck this week. My list is nothing compared to yours but I'm kind of a slow reader. :)

  3. I am in I need a week to get in some heavy duty reading done. Although I do not have as many of TBR as you I still have a lot and would love to more them to another shelf.
    Good reading to all!

  4. I wish I could still read as fast as I used to be able to. Now I have a small list for this week and I'm going to do my best to get to the second set I listed.
    Good luck!

  5. Wow, 400 books! That's crazy!;) Hehe, at least someone's worst than I am, hehe.

  6. Oh, good luck! Can't wait to see if you read them all. I'll send the good ju-ju vibes your way to help out the process. ;)

  7. Thankfully I brought a bunch of my TBR books with me! Need to definitely get through them!

  8. 400 books is crazy! I have about 40, haha. Can't wait to make a dent in them this week =)

  9. Yay! Sounds like fun I am definitely going to sign up!

  10. I thought of joining in but I haven't done my reviews from the last new readathons I did. If I read tons more, I'll have even more review to do.

    Good Luck!

  11. I won't be participating but hope everyonee has fun doing it.

  12. Good luck to all--it's good to see so many interested in this.
    Thanks for hosting!

  14. 400 books, that's insane! Have fun reading and thanks for hosting.

  15. I have a huge tbr as well, but I'm kind of changing the readathon slightly to help me get through my library tbr. I wish I had time to get to my tbr and one day I will. Hope you don't mind my personal modification - I love readathons!

  16. I'm officially signed up! It's my last week at school, so my goals aren't huge, but it will be a great way to keep focused on my TBR.

  17. What a great, great, great idea! My TBR pile is huge, too, very close to yours in numbers in fact, so that could definitely help. I'm joining, even though I won't be able to read that much this week! :D

  18. I must be crazy...

    I work full time.
    I am a mother.
I am training for a half maathon.

    But I'm doing it!

If I get 4 books out of the way, I'll be ecstatic.

  19. I'm going to aim for 6 books. So glad that I found this challenge. I think I am becoming a challenge addict. :-)

  20. All i can say is good luck.

  21. thanks for hosting this! can't wait to eat into my tbr pile.

  22. Wow! I am nowhere as ambitious as you are but I also don't have that many books in my TBR pile. I hope you accomplish what you set out to do and enjoy your reading in the process.

  23. 400 TBR books in your house? Geez! Well, I'm officially signed up, too.

  24. Yowza--thats a whole lot of books!
    Happy reading!
    Love, Hannah

  25. Good Luck. Im trying to join in as much as possible, but while I have finished one book so far, I havent had time to make a post. I blame work since I do have to work all week too.

  26. What a motivator! This, coupled with a week off work, gives me a concrete goal to set for myself! Good luck!
