Oh, how I have failed thee. I don't think I finished 8 books, nonetheless 18. Oh well, I was distracted by Facebook, life, and well.. mainly Facebook. :-D
So here's how I did:
Finished Reading:
Elsewhere by Gabrielle Zevin (audio) (about 3 hours)
The Familiars by Adam Jay Epstein and Andrew Jacobson (about 3 hours)
Stork by Wendy Dolsol (about 2 hours)
Read from start to finish:
Dead Beautiful by Yvonne Woon (5 hours)
Children of the Sea Vol. 1 (1 hour)
Started:
Spy Glass by Maria V. Snyder (2 hours)
Prism by Faye Kellerman (1 hour)
The Secrets of the Dread Forest by Gillian Summers (1 hour)
So, about 18 hours total, 5 books finished and 3 started. I still have today to read, so I'll probably finish at least one of those three books, if not two. :)
Here's the Mr. Linky for you to post up your Finish Line (or whatever you want to call it) posts.
Also, do you guys want to do this again sometime in July? I'm thinking sometime mid-July. :)
Oh and please post no later than Monday night if you want the extra 10 points for the Comment Contest!

I think it is an amazing idea Kristen! I would love to participate next time (couldn't now because of busy week at worka nd exams)! It would be also great to cross a few books off my TBR list.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on what you achieved :-)
lol fb or not, that's still more books than I read this week fo' sho
ReplyDeleteAnother one in mid July sounds like an awesome idea =)
ReplyDeleteI am afraid I was not as diligent as I had hoped to be either. Sometimes life does get in the way of our well intentioned plans.
ReplyDeleteI think I read 5 books all the way through and started a sixth book. I didn'y reach my goal either. Life just got in the way.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to attempt a read-a-thon in a few weeks. I'm afraid because I get so distracted lol.
ReplyDeleteYou still did great though :)
I missed this last week, so I'm going to do it this week. No set number for me, just as many as possible! Might aim to do it once a month

ReplyDeleteYou did great! I love read-a-thons, so I hope there'll be another! Maybe even every month ;)
ReplyDeletewow - I don't know how you managed this many - much less trying for 18 - I couldn't have done even close. Did good.
ReplyDeleteYou did really well. I managed to get 6 books read but I had so much fun. I would love to do another readathon soon!
ReplyDeleteI would love to join in for another readathon. Hopefully, next time we could both succeed in reaching our goals. :D
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed taking part in this readathon. Thanks for hosting!
ReplyDeleteCongrats. Definitely do it again. I wasnt able to fully participate in this round but would love to do it in the future. I did end up finishing 3 books this week but was never able to make a post or fully join in.
ReplyDelete*wipes brow after a full week* That was fun. I definitly want to do it again. Great job on your reads. :)
ReplyDeleteI would love to do this again! You didn't do that bad!

ReplyDeleteYou did fantastic! Thanks so much for hosting, I'd love to do this again.
ReplyDeleteI would love to do this again mid-July. Summer is my best reading time since I'm off work.
ReplyDeleteI would love to do it again!
ReplyDeleteI didn't do as well as I hoped, but I did get some motivation back. Thanks for the great event!
ReplyDeleteMy totals were sad but I still had fun! I would do it again! Thanks for hosting Kristen!
ReplyDeleteI didn't do so well either, nothing close to what I had hoped. But I am taking some comfort in the total pages read stats. :)
ReplyDeleteSorry I am about a week late posting my conclusion post, but life was a bit busy this week! :)
ReplyDeleteI would totally be down for it in July, especially if it's more mid-July (my mom and my aunt come to visit me on the 24-27 weekend, and I'll have no reading time hehe!). My summer plan is pretty much a huge read-a-thon, both for fun and for studies, so I would be glad to share a week with other readers, too!
