So, I've been thinking lately about all the times I'm out shopping for whatever reason and I think to myself, I really want some sort of coffee drink. I'm absolutely addicted to lattes and I really have decided I spend too much on them when I could be buying books instead. Last week I received an email from CSN stores, who sell all sorts of stuff, and I began brainstorming what I would want from them for review, maybe a new bookshelf, something decorative for my bed, an espresso machine or maybe something else. It wasn't that hard to decide, even though they have over 200 stores!
So, what did I decide I wanted? An espresso maker! So I can make my own lattes and save money to spend on books!
Doesn't it look fabulous?
How about you? Are you a big fan of lattes or addicted to any other kind of expensive drink?

Ways to buy more books!

I do love lattes, but I don't buy too many any more. Fancy drinks are a splurge item for me, usually if I'm going out for coffee with friends, and I try to use gift cards for them. Making coffee at home definitely saves a lot of money!
ReplyDeleteI love coffee. My friend is teaching me how to make the best cup too! I sometimes buy coffee when I go out (gotta love that Dark Cherry Mocha), but most of the time I make it at home. What am I addicted to? Sonic Happy Hour! I love their ice and can get an iced tea unsweetened with extra ice for $1.00 and munch on the ice all afternoon! I'm all about the bargain.
ReplyDeleteI hope you get the espresso maker to review! That would be awesome.
I'm definitely addicted to lattes and frappacinos but I don't get them very often. Normally it's when my friends and I decide to meet up, especially over the summer when we don't see each other every day at school. I hope that you like your espresso maker!
ReplyDeleteI'm more for frappes and flavored hot coffees. Love 'em! Hope it works out for you. :)
ReplyDeleteI don't drink hot drinks but I am addicted to coca-cola. It is cheap and everything but the amount I drink everyday turns it into a more expensive habit. Basically coca-cola is my replacement for coffee. Hope your espresso maker works out for you.
ReplyDeleteI'm a tea person, myself. Leaf tea, no bags. Mmmm I'm thirsty just thinking about it. :D
ReplyDeleteI am strictly a water girl, though I do enjoy a coffee now and then. But still, the espresso maker seems so sleek, I'm tempted to get one. :)
ReplyDeleteMm. That looks awesome - I'm a coffee lover but just don't have time a lot.
ReplyDeleteWhat I've done is purchased a Starbucks card and each month load it with $10. Once the money is gone, it's gone for another month. Then I have more money to spend on books!
I'm more of a frapp person. That's a nice espresso maker you got there! Hope your plan works well!
ReplyDeleteI drink an iced coffee every morning. I prefer a medium, with milk only. It's $2.40, which seems like a small price to pay for a full day of sanity and patience.
ReplyDeleteHave fun with that espresso machine!
i love coffee!but i cant afford to buy that.A coffee maker will do for now ;p
ReplyDeleteIt's cool that you get to review an espresso maker. I don't drink a lot of coffee, I'm more of a tea person.
ReplyDeleteI'm a total coffee addict. It's going to be the death of me (but what a delicious way to go!). I've never really considered having my own espresso machine since I'm usually running late, and I'm usually on the go. Translated: I'm too lazy to get up an extra 5 minutes early for homemade espresso.
ReplyDeleteGood luck! I had a fantastic interaction with CSN, and I hope you do too!
I'm addicted to caramel frapps and machiatos. It's dangerous to my bank account! Have fun with the new espresso machine =D
ReplyDeleteI like the way you think both in relation to lattes and the need to buy more books.
ReplyDeleteSeahn
I am not a coffee person. But I love smoothies and those can be equally as pricey. I have often considered getting a blender, but well then Id have to buy the fruit, etc as well. And then I go out and get one pre-made. Someday.
ReplyDeleteROFL - this is a genius idea! I was just talking to people about ways to fund books the other day...I decided I'd busk on the streets, LOL LOL.
ReplyDeleteBut this idea is much more creative! :D
Keurig, Keurig, Keurig!
ReplyDeleteK-cups in my Keurig!
I love mocha frapaccinos from starbucks, but I wouldn't get them often cause I can't really have milk. But now they make them with soy milk for an extra 50 cents so now every time I pass a starbucks I end up getting one (thankfully there aren't too many in my area or I would really be in trouble.) I don't know how I would make one at home though....
ReplyDeletewhen i moved to NC the first thing i bought was a new coffee maker! I didn't even have toilet paper yet!
