In My Mailbox - October 23rd

In My Mailbox is hosted by Kristi @ The Story Siren.

So, tomorrow is my anniversary! :) I've been married to my lovely husband for one full year now! :) It just flew by. We're heading to Olive Garden for a yummy dinner and then some scary movies (old dating tradition) when we get back. Any recommendations?

There's a picture of us at my grandparents' 50 wedding anniversary in early October. :)

Onto IMM! :)

For Review:

Through Her Eyes by Jennifer Archer

Desires of the Dead by Kimberly Dertling (and some cool book title bracelets and other swag!) Thanks Kimberly!

Bought (from Half-Priced Books - I only spent $6, I swear!):

Kiss of Life by Daniel Waters
The Pinhoe Egg by Diana Wynne Jones
The Dragon's Eye by Dugald A. Steer

(My husband thinks I'm in denial... that I am blind to the 400ish books I own and still have yet to read.. I just can't resist.. lol!)

  1. Desires of the Dead!!!!! How exciting. Happy Reading and Happy Anniversary!

  2. Wow only $6?! Nice! Kiss of Life looks great, I hope you enjoy it. Happy Reading :)

  3. Such a cute picture!! Congratulations on your one year - my husband and I just celebrated our one year as well!!

Hmm...scary movie recommendations? Well, if you haven't seen The Ring or The Grudge, you must pick those up. Of course, I really enjoyed The Uninvited with Elizabeth Banks -- just saw that one and it was pretty shocking, and I liked the twists it took. If you really want something that's twisted, Hills Have Eyes is FREAKY, very disturbing. I don't think I could watch that one again!

  4. Congratulations on your anniversary. You are still honeymooning!

  5. Happy anniversary1 I love the cover for Desires of the Dead. No movie recs from me. I hate scary movies.

  6. Happy Anniversary. I hope that you enjoy your books. Check out what I got In My Mailbox. Happy reading.

  7. Happy anniversary! Desires of the Dead looks really good. I'll be eager to hear what you think of it. You can see my YA Mailbox here. Happy reading!

  8. Happy anniversary! "Through her eyes" has a beautiful cover. Congratulations on your win - still waiting on my first :)

  9. Happy happy happy anniversary!! I can't believe it's been a year already!
