It's Monday, What are you Reading?

This fantastic meme is now hosted by Sheila at One Person's Journey Through a World of Books.

Read this past week:
The Scorch Trials by James Dashner (Absolutely fabulous and I want to know how that silver face-destroying stuff is made.. seriously!)
Ottoline and the Yellow Cat by Chris Riddell
Ottoline Goes to School by Chris Riddell

Currently Reading:
Threads and Flames by Esther Friesner

The Secret Society of the Pink Crystal Ball by Risa Green
and I'm not sure what else.

Okay, so I know that you've noticed a lack of reviews.. quite a bit. And so here's my big announcement, come January 1, 2011 - I am taking on a blog partner. April Nichole has offered to join up with my blog and we already have some great ideas and I'm really excited to have some help because I love this blog and the last thing I want to do is abandon it. I'm really looking forward to the upcoming year and having April to work with on this lovely blog. So, you have that to look forward.. and now I really need to go write at least one review. :)

What are you reading?

  1. Just started reading an ARC of Lauren Oliver's DELIRIUM. :)

  2. Just wondering, you don't host Sunday Blues anymore???

  3. Hi CJ,

I've been trying to make up my mind about that. I feel guilty because I haven't been doing my rounds and commenting. I'll put it up next week, okay?

  4. How fun to take on a partner: you still get the fun of the blog, but someone else helps relieve the pressure of posting often. I hope it works out for the both of you

  5. The Secret Society of the Pink Crystal Ball is on my shelf too!

Great idea on the blog partner. I have thought of that too but I have been unable to find one in my area.

  6. I'm going to be reading the Scorch Trials next week and I'm really looking forward to it. Can't wait!

  7. Wow! Love the site! I am a new follower!! The Secret Society of the Pink Crystal Ball looks interesting!! Hope you have a great week!! Happy Reading!

  8. I received for review Expiation by Greg Messel from Author Solutions.

  11. Here is some love and a small confession...I am a new blogger and I read you all of the time but rarely comment...I comment in my head and enjoy your posts and then I just sort of go on the the next email...but I am reminding myself that I would love comments so I should leave them...and I am...I just began of bees and mists...and I just preordered some books today for my Kindle...far too many...that is a great idea...partnering up...good luck to both of you!!!

  12. A blog partner - what a great idea! Hope it goes well.

Enjoy your books this week -

  13. Risa Green's book sounds good! The cover caught my eye when I saw it in a review a few weeks back. Hope you enjoy it.

And YAY for your big announcement! :)

  14. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Ottoline books. Research and wishlist books make up the bulk of my reading last week. Here's what I'm reading this week.

  15. Congrats on your new blog partner. So glad you loved THe Scorch Trials, can't wait to read it.

  16. The Scorch Trials is going to be in MY Christmas book box along with The Maze Runner! Congrats on getting a partner; I know how overwhelming it can sometimes be to keep up!
