August in Review

Well wow, good bye to the last month of summer. Hello to my new job and my new world of the elementary library.

I'm loving it. :)

So, last month, this is what I read (and reviewed):

Heartsinger by Karlijn Stoffels
Fade to Blue by Sean Beaudoin
The Kindling of GreenFyr by Mark Freeman
Ash by Malinda Lo
Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick
Candor by Pam Bachorz
The Summoning by Kelley Armstrong
Dancing with Ana by Nicole Barker
Fire by Kristin Cashore
Violet Wings by Victoria Hanley
Undercover by Beth Kephart
Crash Into Me by Albert Borris
The Family Bones by Kimberly Raiser
Tomorrow When the War Began by John Marsden
Dragon Spear by Jessica Day George
Assiniboin Girl by Kathi Wallace

So, 16 books this month. 2 more than last month, but I still want to step it up. I know, I have high expectations.

6 or 7 weeks until I'm married. Gah! It's coming up so fast. My fiance keeps reminding me but I'm so involved with my new job, I haven't spared it much thought lately. Hehe.

  3. You read more books than me this month. I seem to be in a reading slump. I just can't really read non-stop anymore. You read some great books and congrats on your upcoming marriage. =]

  6. That's a lot more impressive than my list of maybe 6...I had one that took me a LONG time to read and it really slowed down my momentum because I've already read 2 books this month!

  11. Congratulations all around!! New job, a bunch of awesome books read, and you're getting married soon. It's quite an eventful time for you. Seeing your huge list of books makes me want to go and read some more, but homework calls and I have a paper to write still.
