Cybils Award Challenge

Michelle over at Galleysmith is hosting a great contest to get us reading some of the chosen books from 2009 to be up for the Cybils award.

I am going to be ... insane. And I am going to ATTEMPT to finish three categories this year. Yes, I am insane.

I'm going for the level of participation of

  • Categorically Speaking – choose to read all books in a category
And I am going to try to read all of the books in these three Categories:

I was going to go easy on myself but if I do that last one I'll be knocking out a ton of my TBR pile and that's one of my goals for this coming year... I'm attempting not to buy two more bookshelves...

So, wish me luck and I am waiting to be barraged with the "You are totally insane girl" comments. :)

  1. Good luck!!

I think attempting one category could be difficult, so I hope you're able to do all three :D

  2. Good luck!!

I'm so excited to see you jumping in with both feet. I'm doing categorically speaking for the Fiction: Young Adult category and will likely try for Shorties on MG and Sci-fi/Fantasy.

To answer your question in the thread....yes, if you finish all three categories you are entered for the prize three times :)

  3. Three categories?! That's so much reading to add to a probably-already-full TBR list. Good luck and enjoy the challenge

  7. Yeah, you are pretty much insane for the third one.

As a member of the GN panel, I've pretty much completed categories 1 and 2, so good luck. There's some good ones in there! (There's some duds to, but what can you do?)
