It's Monday, What are you Reading?

This fantastic meme is now hosted by Sheila at One Person's Journey Through a World of Books.

Read this past week: (reviews should be up later this week)
Everlasting by Angie Frazier
Forget Her Nots by Amy Brecount White

Currently Reading:
Rapture of the Deep by L.A. Meyer
Terrier by Tamora Pierce
Bleeding Violet by Dia Reeves

Upcoming:
Watersmeet by Ellen Jensen Abbott
Bonecrossed by Patricia Briggs
Whisper by Phoebe Kitanidis

So only two last week, but I should be reading a ton this week with the two readathons I'm participating in.

News:

  • This week I've lost 4.5 lbs on the Game-On Diet! Woot! I'm doing this competition diet with Andrea from Book Blather and Kate from The Neverending Shelf (after a discovery of how much I've gained just this school year...ugh!).
  • I've been rehired back at my school!! For those of you living in IL as a teacher you understand how I feel - super elated. Our school districts in IL are cutting across the board due to a state budget cut in Education. So, I'm excited that all my work in the library this year will not go to waste, because I will be back next year to make more improvements!
  • I'm failing on affiliate news and will have a post this week about it. I'm on Spring Break, so expect to see me more on twitter, facebook, and hopefully reading! :)
  • I did see one author this past week - Claudia Gray! I went with my good blogging buddy Erica from The Book Cellarx. Here's a pic...

  3. I am so excited that you got your school library job back! As a teacher librarian I totally get the stress and budget woes. I would be so sad to lose my library position. So...congratulations!

And read-a-thons here we come! Yay!

  6. I just finished Bone Crossed This past week and loved it!

Interested to see what you think of Bleeding Violet. Such an odd story and very graphic. But, I liked it.
