Bloggiesta Update 1

I forgot to link the marvelous Maw Books Blog before for hosting this awesome fiesta! I've blogged so hard I think my brain is seeping out of my pores... seriously.

Also, I'm taking a slight haitus from Blogger Spotlights this weekend.. I'll have some sort of post up begging ppl to sign up tomorrow or Sunday at some point.

Alright, I have completed way too many hours of blog work!!! I'm heading into hour 17 right now and I'm nearly falling over with exhaustion.

Start time: 8 am
End time: 1 am
Total time put in: 17 - 1 hour (for breaks/shower, etc) = 16 hours of blog time!!!

I've been joking with Kate from The Neverending Shelf that I will be up at 6 am.. but who knows. Anyways, here's what I got done:

Finished:

  • Updated master list of Reviews
  • Posted reviews up on Goodreads, updated what I had read on there.
  • Updated Author Interviews list
  • Updated Blogger Spotlights list
  • Updated list of books read this year on Goodreads
  • Updated links in my monthly In Review posts to include reviews written after the post was up.
  • Updated my Tour book list (to keep track of where I'm at on Tour books)
  • Wrote up a Review book Spreadsheet - this consists of the title and author of the book, publication date, if there's a set date for my review, the publisher, etc. To keep me on task with review books...
  • Updated my sidebars (got rid of some stuff, added/changed some stuff)
  • Updated my TBR Slideshow
  • Finished my Blog Affiliates page
  • Took the photos off my camera from the author event last week so I can start working on that post.
Works in progress:
  • Went through Google Reader and STARTED on the mass amounts of starred Items I have to go through. I'll wrap that up in the last hour..
  • Started on my huge Goodreads project.. adding all the books I own and making sure they're marked either Own-It (if its been read) or TBR-Own (if I still need to read it). I basically got two of my bookshelves done and even dusted and reordered them so more fit. Here's some pictures:

Completed the following mini-challenges:
  • Kim and Jackie at the Blog Improvement Project - I set two goals, both dealing with organization basically: Short term goal: Get ahead with my review posts and memes
Long term goal: Make a schedule and stick to it. I want to create a weekly schedule and monthly schedule and stick to it. I feel too much like a procrastinator when it comes to my blog.
  • Jennifer at Girls Gone Reading - I really didn't have a review policy.. does that surprise you as much as it did me? So, here it is - My Review Policy (it is also linked on the menubar).
  • Sarah at Puss Reboots - I already have RSS feed, so basically I just double checked it. It works, yay!
  • Danielle at There’s a Book - This one was about StatCounters! I already have one, but.. when you clicked on it, it said Project Not Found, so I reinstalled that and put it in my right sidebar instead of down at the bottom of the page. :)
  • Cass at Bonjour Cass - I commented on 10 blogs I didn't know from the Mr. Linky page. :) Hope I spread a little Bloggiesta sunshine out there to those I commented on!

I also really like your master list of reviews. After looking at other blogs, I've decided to do one myself.

The big goodreads project sounds good, I think I would like to do that too to get some order to my books and books that I still need to read. :)
