News:
- Less than three weeks until I get married! I'm starting to get the anxiety and jitters, so beware of my random twitters saying I think I may die, that I can't breathe.. and other sorts of panicky statements. I will become sane again.. I promise!
- I started a new monthly meme called La Creme de la Creme - I want to see the best of best from the previous month. Whether it be a review, a random babble, or something much more interesting... please check it out! It also will get me commenting again.. :)
- I also am taking on a challenge from Misty's blog - Book Rat - The Helluva Halloween Challenge. We'll see how far I get.
This week, I asked: Would you be interested in participating in a Maria V. Snyder week?
25% said: I love her books! Yes yes yes!
66% said: Her books sound interesting, so sure, why not?
7% said: Not interested.
So I have two polls running now. One dealing with the Maria V. Snyder week and then another with what kind of post to do on my wedding date.
Please check those out in the right hand sidebar! :) I appreciate your votes and honesty.
I have no idea who Maria V. Snyder is. Hmmm. . .
ReplyDeleteAnd congratulations on getting married!
Wow, congratulations! So soon and you're still managing to read a ton of books, too :) Personally I can't wait for Snyder week.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on getting married and good luck with the last preparations =) I'm very impressed that you get so much reading done at the same time.
ReplyDeleteI have Shiver and Prophecy of the sisters unread on my shelf. I'm really looking forward to reading them both.
Have a great week!
Wow you had an awesome reading week! I've been listening to Shiver the last 2 weeks but I've been in go slow mode so only half way through.
ReplyDeleteOff to check out your polls :-)
Here's my post
Great books to help calm the nerves before the big day! Fall is such a beautiful time to get married, congrats.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I'm supposed to say congratulations or best wishes, but consider them both bestowed upon you for your upcoming wedding! --{-@ :D
ReplyDeleteI'm currently reading The Forest of Hands and Teeth and The Graveyard Book. The former, so far, is amazing; the latter is just kinda... meh. =\
Only 3 weeks away, how exciting! I will take the polls. I am afraid I do not know who Maria V. Snyder is, but shall look at her books. You have a lovely line-up this week.
ReplyDeleteMine is here: http://rundpinne.blogspot.com/2009/10/what-are-you-reading-monday.html

ReplyDeleteHappy reading this week!
The cover on the "Shiver" book makes me...SHIVER! LOL

ReplyDeleteI'm having a hard time trying to vote on your first poll.. can't you make a post with a bit of everyone?
I mean.. the slideshow would be perfect, but I'm curious about wedding themes in books..
Great Book List. Cant wait to read your review on Shiver.
